Welcome to the Safari Schools Alumni Page—a celebration of the remarkable journeys that began in our classrooms. Here, we honour the children who once learned, played, and grew within our community and have since carried the spirit of curiosity, creativity, and kindness into the world. This space highlights their stories, achievements, and milestones, reminding us that once you are part of Safari Schools, you are family for life. We invite you to explore, reconnect, and share in the legacy of our incredible alumni.

Alumni Spotlights

Atte Kadoma:
Growing Beyond the Safari Schools Roots.

Atte Kadoma is a PhD student in Materials Science & Mechanical Engineering at Harvard SEAS, studying the mechanical properties of degradable polymers and other advanced materials — work that reflects a lifelong fascination with science since childhood.
Before Harvard, Atte studied Materials Science and Engineering as an undergraduate and was recognized nationally where she earned the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship, a testament to her academic excellence and passion for research.
Beyond the lab, Atte describes herselff as a “serial hobbyist”: from club ice hockey to drumming, longboarding, and solving Rubik’s Cubes, she embraces curiosity, creativity, and a spirit of exploration in many forms.
Atte’s story is one of relentless curiosity — a scientist who remembers the wonder of trying to understand how things work as a kid — now pursuing cutting-edge research and still holding on to the playful heart of a lifelong learner.

Hati Kobusingye:
A Safari Schools Original.

Hati began her educational journey at Safari Kindergarten in the early seventies, carrying forward a love of learning that shaped her path. She continued her studies in Uganda before moving to Tanzania for university, where she deepened her passion for education and research. We are proud to celebrate Hati as a member of our Safari Schools alumni family.
